Visionox Readies Next 6th Gen OLED Fab

Visionox’s new fab is located in Hefei, will cost ~$6.35b and will have capacity of 30,000 sheets, built out in two phases.  Visionox currently runs a similar Gen 6 fab in Hebei and a Gen 5.5 OLED fab in Kunshan that produces both flexible and rigid OLED displays.  Visionox has also begun construction of a module plant in Guangzhou that will assemble OLED display modules with the open panels being produced at its three fabs.  The Hefei fab will  tunes the new line over the next quarter and is expected be near full capacity (Phase 1) in late 2021.  Visionox’s will gain share in OLED panels thru 2022, but could lose share in 2023, as new OLED fabs from other panel makers hit MP.
