TV ASPs Peak in July’21, but Not Likely to Return to 2019 Levels Until 2023
DSCC showed their forecast for LCD TV panel prices peaking in July’21 and then dropping month over month thru the end of the year. At that point, panel makers are expected to begin price reductions, primarily because the brands have been forced to pass the panel price increases on to consumers, which is likely to result in a reduction in demand.

Looking at Y/Y change, prices for each panel size, prices aren’t expected to reach 2020 levels, starting out 40% to 80% higher Y/Y and getting down to 3% to 20% higher by December.
