Tianma Delays Phase 2 of Wuhan Gen 6 Fab

Tianma, which last week announced a new source of funding for its OLED Fab expansion, has delayed phase 2 of their Wuhan OLED fab due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 15,000 sheet/month phase 2 project was to be opened in late 1Q or early 2Q but has been delayed until sometime in 3Q. The Wuhan fab is a Gen 6 flexible OLED fab with a two phase capacity of 30,000 sheets/month and is Tianma’s first Gen 6 OLED fab. The company operates a Gen 5.5 OLED fab in Shanghai.
