Sharp Enters the Micro LED market with the Canvas
February 23, 2020

Sharp added the Canvas, its version of the MicroLED TV to the Wall (Samsung), and Crystal LED (Sony).  Sharp The Canvas comes with a matt black matrix surface that offers the best contrast and as little reflection as possible (anti-glare). At 2,500 cd / m², the brightness is more than sufficient for indoor use.

New at Sharp The Canvas offers the possibility to assemble curved installations based on CoB (MicroLED) modules. A patented mosaic-like design creates displays with any curvature and size, with a small tessellation step of 108 mm for a smooth curvature. According to Sharp: Board Rooms, Hospitality and Control Rooms, digital signage target markets for the solution. No information is yet available on prices and availability.
