Samsung Smartphone Supply Chain Experiencing Revenue Declines in Q221
The early release of the Galaxy S21 series was a boon to Q420 results for many in the Samsung smartphone supply chain, but the early release and shortages both at Samsung and its suppliers have slowed growth for many and delayed new releases from other brands in Q121. Recent reports indicate the current issues will be alleviated in Q321, but Samsung’s overall Q221 smartphone shipments are expected to decline sequentially due to component.
