QD-OLED Mass Production Moved Up 1 Quarter to Q321
Kim Dongwon, a researcher at KB Securities in South Korea, said that plans for mass producing QD-OLED panels has been advanced from the originally scheduled fourth quarter to the third quarter. Dongwon predicts that Samsung Visual will add SDC QD-OLEDs to the next generation of new TV products, because the image quality of the OLED panel is better than that of the LCD, and the rising cost of LCD panels reduced the price difference.
