Q420 Exposure Tools Shipments Up 106% Y/Y
Electric Devices in Japan reports that Nikon shipped 12 exposure tools in Q420, including. 7-G10.5 LCD exposures, 2-G8, 3-G6&G5.5. The pandemic in 2020 resulted a decline of exposure sales in 2020. Nikon modified its forecast for 2020, fiscal year ending in March 2021, exposure shipment from total shipment of 22 to total of 28 in 2020. The company foresees shipping total of 28 exposure tools in 2020 whereas shipping 14-G10.5, 5-G7/8, and 9-G5/6.
Canon forecasts shipping 32 exposure tools for FY2020, ending in March 2021. Canon shipped total of 21 tools between October and December 2020, and 50 exposure tools in 2019; with 68 units expected in 2021. Canon unveiled its MPAsp-E903T in November 2020. The MPAsp-E903T offers 1.0um resolution efficiency for ultra HD display panels.
