Q121 PC Shipments Up 55.2% Y/Y and Up 6.0% Q/Q
IDC reported growth in PC shipments in Q121 as volume was up Y/Y as expected to due to a very poor Q120, but they were also up sequentially after a strong Q420. Typically, Q1 quarters are down sequentially. The top 5 remained in place with a big Y/Y change but was negative sequentially as the company promised a new series of PCs. Notebooks maintained their share of total PC shipments at 82%.
