OPPO Applies for a Left and Right Moving Camera Patent
OPPO applied for a patent to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) for a front-top camera that moves left and right. The camera module is mounted on the rail bracket, and the camera is moved left and right with an internal motor. According to the patent, even when the user is looking ahead, the user’s side face can be photographed, which can create novel results. Last year, it patented a stylus pen that allows phone calls and a smartphone that separates only the camera, and prior to that, in 2019, it actually mass-produced and launched a smartphone with a slide pop-up camera. Next month, it is planning to release ‘Find X3’, a flagship smartphone capable of 25x super close-up zoom, which exceeds Samsung Electronics’ 10x zoom.
