Lower Y/Y Sales Continue for Taiwan’s panel Makers in November

AUO reported November sales of NT$21.28b ($698.025m US), ↑6.5 sequentially but ↓17.4% Y/Y.  Large panel shipments were 9.59m units, ↑20.6% sequentially and ↑1.3% Y/Y, while small panel shipments were11.32m units, ↓11.32% sequentially but ↑1.0% Y/Y. In October AUO saw a 10.7% drop in overall panel ASP, with an increase in large panel ASP and a decrease in small; panel ASP.  
 
Innolux has disclosed its consolidated revenues for November reached NT$21.5 billion (US$705.37 million), ↓2.4% sequentially and ↓9.7% Y/Y. Shipments of large-size panels totaled 10.9 million units in November, ↑ 4.7% sequentially, while small/medium panels reached about 23.04 million units, ↑4.9% sequentially.
HannStar Display said its November revenues reached NT$1.468 billion ↑1.95% sequentially, but ↑31.56% Y/Y. The company shipped 42.87 million small/medium panels, ↓1.5% sequentially. Shipments of large-size panels for monitors and own-brand products totaled 260,000 units, ↑317% sequentially.
