LG Display on OLED Lighting

LG Display has begun offering manufacturers, designers and individuals the opportunity to collaborate to bring to market innovative lighting ideas using OLED lighting technology. LG OLED light has taken this step to speed up the use of OLED lighting panels in the market.  One of the main purposes of the collaboration program is to support product manufacturers/designers who are looking to create and produce new products with OLEDs. Any product, whether it is lighting or non-lighting, is eligible as long as the product is not categorized as a ‘general’ lighting product (luminaire or fixture).  LG OLED light is available to support architectural projects looking to install OLEDs. The application is not limited to any particular format – whether it takes the form of a fixture/luminaire or direct integration of the OLEDs into the structure, etc. – as long as the OLEDs find a permanent place within the architectural structure. The deadline is October 31, but the program will conclude regardless of the date once a total of 10 projects are selected or allocated support funds are depleted.
