​August is shaping up to be the first month where some TV panel prices will decline, The trend in TV prices is decidedly different than in previous months, and while negotiations between panel buyers and panel producers continue, TV panel price estimates are declining. When panels are in short supply, smaller purchasers tend to get allocations below targets, so when demand from large customers slows, panel producers fill smaller customer orders to maintain utilization despite lower demand, which has been the case in July in order to insulate themselves from weaker demand for a month. But the protection will run out in  August, and TV panel prices could take a hit in the range of -0.9% to -3.5%.
