APS Holdings and Professor Park Yong-Beom of Sunchon University led a research team to develop Gen 6 FMM manufacturing technology for high-resolution OLED up to 600ppi using Invar (Invar nickel-iron alloy) material with less thermal distortion in the manufacturing process.
This national project will be developed step by step through 2023. The goal is to secure quality, size, and high resolution FMM sticks for mass production by panel manufacturers. Earlier, in February, APS Holdings announced that the Board of Directors committed $16.7m in new facilities for the FMM business. APS Holdings President Kim Chi-woo said, "The excellence of FMM stick manufacturing technology using laser technology has been proven again." From: The Elec
