iPhone X Costs $10.50 More than the Galaxy S9+

Techinsights has put together a comparison of component costs for the new Samsung Galaxy S9+ (released this month) and the Apple iPhone X (released November 2017) and the iPhone 8+ (released September 2017), which gives some insight into the potential for price changes in subsequent models.  Based on teardowns, the results are below, although we note that all three models differ as to specs, which can make certain component comparisons look unusual.
