Counterpoint reports that Huawei not only stayed ahead of Apple but also overtook Samsung to become the world’s largest smartphone marker in April. The timing of this news, coming just after the U.S. tightened its restrictions on Huawei’s supply chain is ironic as this is the first time Huawei reached the top spot.
