Huawei Mate X’s Durability Problems

A YouTube user by the name of Fold Universe created a list of Huawei Mate X durability failures here in June of 2020. The key for any next-generation piece of technology like this is durability – and the Huawei Mate X seems to have missed the mark. Regardless, according to Huawei, the phone sold out the same day it was first released for sale. Unfortunately, the displays were less-than-rugged, repairs cost a mint. A full Huawei Mate X repair/screen replacement was quoted at approximately $1000 – that’s nearly half the original full price (approximately $2400 USD, converted).
