Epistar and Lextar – Three Years of Continuous Losses
 
Epistar and Lextar had operating loss of NT$4.486 billion (US$158 million) and NT$800.7 million respectively for 2020 - the third consecutive year of operating losses for both companies. Epistar posted consolidated revenues of NT$14.532 billion, gross margin of -3.06%, and net loss of NT$8.109 billion for 2020. Lextar recorded consolidated revenues of NT$9.171 billion, gross margin of 12.37% and net loss of NT$629.4 million for the year. Epistar's consolidated revenues reached NT$1.04 billion in February, decreasing 9.12% sequentially but increasing 11.89% on year, and those of NT$2.183 billion for January-February grew 21.51% on year. Lextar had consolidated revenues of NT$449.0 million for February, declining 19.58% sequentially but rising 36.72% on year, and those of NT$1.007 billion for January-February grew 31.72% on year.
