Dramatic spikes in auto traffic around major hospitals in Wuhan last fall indicate the coronavirus may have been present and spreading throughout central China long before the Chinese reported the outbreak to the WHO on Dec. 31. Other hospitals showed up to a 90% increase when comparing traffic between fall of 2018 and 2019, according to new Harvard Medical School study.
