BOE Leads in Shipments by LG Dominates in Revenue

Shenzhen based Qunzhi Consulting reported that BOE is the world’s largest LCD TV panel producer as of the end of 2018. BOE shipped 54.3m large area panels vs. LG Display  #2 at 48.6m.  However, LGD was #1 in revenues at $16.86b with Innolux at #2 and BOE at #3.

​LG Display had the highest average price and shipped 10.5% less panels than BOE, but generated 131% more large area display revenue.
