Apple A15 Bionic Processor w/15b Transistors -- Fastest CPU In Any Smartphone
Apple claims the A15 is up to 50% faster than their leading competitor. For Graphics intensive tasks like advanced games, the A15 Bionic features our latest 4-core GPU, enabling more eye-catching visuals and lighting effects. It delivers up to 30 percent faster graphics versus our leading competitor," the company said. At Apple's event unveiling its new iPhones the company said its new A15 "Bionic processor" performs better than its competitors. In response, Samsung indirectly criticized Apple by posting a sniper post via its social media channel claiming the new iPhone 13 comes with no innovation. Samsung further mentioned that the new iPhone's ProMotion display feature that can ramp up the device's display refresh rate to up to 120 hertz (Hz), or down to a lower rate for text and still images, saying "We've been refreshing at 120Hz for a while now…" Samsung has offered 120 hertz refresh rate displays on its devices since the Galaxy S20 smartphone that was released last year. As a high refresh rate enables smoother scrolling and clearer images while decreasing signal latency, refresh rates of 90Hz or higher have become the standard for premium smartphones. |

New details claimed by Ice Universe and MacRumors reveal two interesting things about Apple's new silicon. Firstly, that it's still the most powerful mobile chip around, according to Geekbench 5 results tallied up against the benchmarks we have for Android phones using the Snapdragon 888. Secondly, that Apple's managed to do this without changing the amount of RAM. According to the Geekbench Browser screenshots provided by Ice Universe, the iPhone 13 scored 1,734 in the single-core test and 4,818 in the multi-core test in Geekbench 5. Compared to the iPhone 12 Pro Max, which scored 1,603 and 4,111, it's a modest improvement over the year-old chip. Android phones fall further behind though. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra managed a paltry 1,123 and 3,440 by comparison, with its Snapdragon 888 chip.
There will be three. iPhone 14 models that use the LTPO display with a 120Hz variable refresh rate. In the iPhone 13, only the Pro and Pro Max models use the 120Hz variable refresh rate LTPO display. The iPhone 14 series will not have the 5.4-inch mini model. This series will have 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Kuo expected Apple to ship between 15 to 20 million foldable iPhone in 2023. However, Kuo now says that Apple’s release of a foldable iPhone has been delayed until 2024. Samsung can mass produce that amount in 2022. Circa 2025-26 seems likelier.
