CEO & President

​Barry Young is president and CEO of the OLED Association, where he solves industry-wide issues, such as the development of standards for the OLED display and lighting industries. He also serves as CEO of Young Market Research (YMR) and is its primary-lighting analyst  He works with and supports the leading OLED manufacturers, tool makers and material suppliers for the entire food chain.  He lobbies for the industry and develops forecasts of material usage, display shipments and revenue and lighting shipments and revenue. Each quarter the Association captures the display and lighting shipments and provides its members with a detailed analysis of the state of the industry.

​He also worked with a group of OLED suppliers to produce the first US-based pilot line for OLED lighting. A co-founder of DisplaySearch, Young is one of the leading authorities on OLEDs and flexible displays, and during his tenure there authored DisplaySearch’s OLED, flexible-display and small/medium-display market and technology reports.

Neo Kim (Seung-Ho Kim)
​Vice President
 
Neo serves as the Asia Pacific Regional Manager.
He was the VP of SNE Research Korea, a market research company that focuses on LCD/OLED sectors.

He worked as Director of the LCD Division at Samsung Electronics from 10/2010 to 10/2011, where he managed strategy and marketing while focusing on market analysis, competition, landscape, products and technology trends.
Senior Director at BOE Technology Group (China) in the TFT-LCD Division, where Neo was in charge of set-up for marketing & strategy planning. Prior to BOE, Neo worked at DisplaySearch as the President of Korea branch. He was Marketing Director at Hydis Technology, was IT Manager at Hewlett-Packard Korea, and was Assistant TFT-LCD Manager at LG Electronics.

In all of these positions, he dedicated his efforts to the display market overall and specifically in strategic marketing of TFT-LCDs.

Sungeun Kim
Associate Director 

Sung entered the flat panel display industry in 1999 as a senior analyst at DisplaySearch, the leader in flat panel display market research, consulting and events.  After working at DisplaySearch for 7 years, she joined MagnaChip as Strategic Marketing Leader in their Flat Panel Display Driver IC Division. She concurrently works at the OLED Association as an Associate Director and Display Supply Chain as a Senior Analyst. Sung will be utilizing her strong language skills - English, Japanese and Korean - and market research experience as well as her digital marketing experience at DSCC.
