2019 Semiconductor Revenues Drop by 12% Y/Y

The semiconductor in 2019 suffered a 12% drop in revenue from $476.2b to $419.1b. The largest loses were experienced by SK Hynix at -38%, Samsung at -29% and Qualcomm at 11%. Intel passes Samsung moving into the #1 position with a Y/Y gain of 2%. Apple with an increased focus on 5G SOCs, was up 12%, the most of any company in the top 10 rank.
