SiliconWorks Reports Q220 Revenue of $157M
 
SiliconWorks produces driver ICs for OLED panels and generated $157m in revenue in Q220. Large panel driver revenue was $47M down 26.6% sequentially. Their small/medium driver business was $26M, flat sequentially. Yuanta Securities Korea anticipating growth in large area drivers in Q320 as LG’s Guangzhou enters MP reported that the OLED TV segment will grow to $77m up 61% sequentially in Q3’20 small/medium OLED driver revenue reach $60M, up 132%, sequentially.

The outlook for the remainder of 2020 is positive with revenues up 37% Y/Y and 45% Y/Y in 2021. SiliconWorks is also supplying driver IC to BOE’s LCD panels for Apple products. It is projected that the SiliconWorks’ driver IC could be added to BOE’s OLED panels possibly for the iPhone 13.
