Samsung Regains Lead in Smartphone Panel Shipments in Q319
December 01, 2019

In Q119, BOE took over the lead in smartphone panel shipments and retained the lead in Q219 as Samsung which makes only OLED displays dropped to #2. But the growth in demand of iPhone 11, Galaxy 10 and Note 10 enabled Samsung Display to regain the lead in Q319. Tianma was #3 throughout 2019. The remaining panel makers were in the 3% to 5% share.
