Samsung Galaxy S20 Leaks
January 20, 2020

Thanks to our own Max Weinbach, this week has been chock full of Samsung Galaxy S20 leaks. There was also news this week about the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, and now the full specifications of the series are available. Ishan Agarwal shared the full spec sheets for the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, Galaxy S20+ 5G, and Galaxy S20 5G.

The first thing to point out is that these are the European and Asian Galaxy S20 models, as they have the Exynos 990 processor. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 is expected to be in other regions. The other specifications should be the same across all markets. The AMOLED 120Hz displays are present, all coming in at 3200×1440. They also all have Dolby Atmos Stereo Speaker by AKG, microSD card slots, IP68 water resistance, and Android 10 with One UI 2. The differences start with the screen sizes. The Galaxy S20 5G has a 6.2-inch display, the Galaxy S20+ 5G is 6.7-inches, and the S20 Ultra is a whopping 6.9-inches. The Galaxy S20 and S20+ have 128GB of storage, while the S20 Ultra has 512GB. Battery size goes from 4,000mAh to 4500mAh to 5,000mAh.

Cameras are a big part of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series (both in size and importance). The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G and S20+ 5G have four rear cameras, while the Galaxy S20 5G has three. The main camera on the S20 and S20+ is 12MP, while the main camera on the Ultra is 108MP. The telephoto camera on the S20+ and S20 is 64MP, while it’s 48MP on the Ultra. All three have a 12MP ultra-wide camera. The S20+ and Ultra have ToF cameras on the back. On the front, the S20+ and S20 feature 10MP selfie cameras, while the Ultra has a beastly 40MP camera.

One thing that we’re not seeing yet is pricing information. It will be interesting to see how big of a price gap there is between the 4G-only Galaxy S20 and the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G.
