INT Announces 0.7”, 2300 Ppi OLED Micro Display
August 02, 2020
After releasing the world’s first display in January 2020, INT Tech (INT) has demonstrated an XR all-in-one device. The ultra-low power-OLED near-eye display module can fully meet the needs of XR all-in-one for power saving and resolution, but the luminance, which is 2,000 nits will need to increase to .5,000 nits before the micro display can be effective. The INT solution has INT’s technical includes a Si backplane, a glass front plane, independent driver IC architecture and according to INT can be used to improve the process yield, reduce the cost, while reducing time to new product development. At the same time, it produces a flexible and transparent displays for the next generation of XR solutions.
INT was established in Taiwan in 2016, as a fabless company and has developed a broad patent portfolio for Ultra-High Pixel-Density displays. UHPD technology has attracted the attention of major international manufacturers reached a cooperative consensus with many major international manufacturers. Concurrently, INT is working on luminous efficiency, which as we stated has significant room for improvement. In April of 2020, INT signed a joint venture contract with Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, China.
