MED Develops New Management Team for Asia

EDINBURGH, UK, 22 September 2008 - MicroEmissive Displays plc (MED) is expanding its sales management team in Asia to provide strategic support to its customers and distributors in the region. Echo Li Kam Wah has been appointed to the newly created role of Vice President of Sales - Asia and he will be responsible for sales in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Korea and other countries in southern Asia.

Commenting, Bill Miller, CEO at MED said, “Echo Li adds considerable strength and knowledge to MED’s management team. In particular his experience developing relationships with key customers in the region will be invaluable to us as we increase our sales focus in Asia. He will work closely with our regional distributors in Hong Kong, China, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan to develop and grow sales of our eyescreenTM microdisplay.”

Echo Li joins MED from Zetex Semiconductor where he has spent two years as VP of Sales, Asia, building the sales and FAE teams and developing a sales and marketing strategy for the region. Prior to this he spent eight years at Linear Technology as Area Sales Manager for China. Echo Li started his career in the electronics industry as a Sales Engineer for Arrow Electronics in Hong Kong.
