Vivo's Next Smartphone Slated To Be Called The X70, X70 Pro And X70 Pro+
Earlier leaks have hinted that the vanilla and Pro variants could come with either a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 or a Snaprdragon 888+, with a better shot at the latter for the X70 Pro+. However, Digital Chat Station's new spec-list actually specifies a last-gen Exynos 1080 for the Pro instead, with a choice of that Samsung processor or the 1200 in the X70. This detail might make sense of the prior mention of an "X70t Pro" with the MediaTek silicon from a previous tip. Moving on to the rear camera portion of this new tip, there are hints here of Vivo's efforts to mark the X70 series out as mobile photography specialists. The X70 Pro+ is now slated to launch with a 50+48MP dual rear cameras, along with unusually powerful 12 and 8MP sensors for secondary duties such as zoom or portrait shooting. The Pro seems to have much the same set-up, except that the 48MP module has been swapped for a 12MP lens. The vanilla X70, is an emerging option among upper-mid-tier Android smartphones. It has just 3 rear shooters, the most powerful of which seems to be of an atypical 40MP in resolution (although this could be a typo of some kind, and ultimately turn out to be a more normal 48MP). The rest of the specs-include a 1440p 6.78-inch display of the X70 Pro+ included. Its previously-revealed next-gen E5 AMOLED and Zeiss-branded camera humps included. The phones' V1 chipset is the actual 888+. It, as with its Xiaomi counterpart the Surge C1, looks tiny compared to the full-scale SoC, as might befit a dedicated ISP. |
